Membership Refund Policy

Effective Date: January 1, 2026

At Westenders Car Club,  we strive to provide a seamless experience for our members. Because membership dues are used immediately to fund club operations, events, and insurance, we maintain a strict refund policy. Please review the terms below before completing your payment through our Personify system or PayPal payment system.

1. General Policy

Except as expressly stated in Section 2, all membership payments are final and non-refundable. This includes:

  • New membership initiation fees.
  • Annual membership renewal dues.
  • Payments made for club events, merchandise, or specialized cruises.

2. Limited Exception: Renewal Discrepancies

A partial refund will be granted only in the following specific circumstance:

  • If an existing member inadvertently pays the "New Member" fee (higher rate) instead of the "Renewal" fee (lower rate) during their renewal period.

3. Refund Calculations & Processing

In the event of a renewal discrepancy as described above:

  • Refund Amount: We will refund the exact difference between the New Member fee and the Renewal fee.
  • Deductions: All refunds are subject to the deduction of any non-reimbursable bank processing fees or Personify transaction fees incurred by the club during the original transaction.
  • Method: Refunds will be credited back to the original credit card or payment method used at the time of purchase.

4. How to Request a Correction

If you believe you have overpaid for your renewal, please contact our Treasurer or Membership Director at info@westenderscarclubtx.com within 30 days  of the transaction. Please include your full name and a copy of your payment confirmation.
